🎉 Welcome to the Team 🎉
We’re so happy to welcome Yeshareg Esayas Peled to the CMG team. She’ll be leading Wonder Wheels, helping bring its spirit of curiosity, creativity, and resilience to children across northern Israel.
We’re thrilled to have her with us and wish her every success as she gets started. This is just a first hello. Stay tuned for a future newsletter, when we’ll share more about Yeshareg and what brought her to CMG.

In Their Own Words
Some of the most moving and meaningful moments in Wonder Wheels come directly from the children themselves. During our recent resilience activities, they shared their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with us, and we wanted to share a few of them with you.

The People Behind CMG

Seeing and hearing what our children are still dealing with, like asking if there will be sirens again, or coping with stress in ways no child should have to, is heartbreaking. But then we see the contrast with each Wonder Wheels activity: the happy stories, the look of engaged concentration in the creative process and the bright smiles of accomplishment. Then there’s the gratitude of teachers and parents. With every single activity, it becomes clearer just how much we are filling a real, urgent need in this region. I've even started keeping a list of "101 Reasons Why Our Region Needs a Children's Museum." Some are obvious, but others aren't—like how a lack of places for kids to just play leads to a sedentary lifestyle, putting our children at risk for obesity and childhood diabetes.

Your continued support, your cheering, your volunteering, and your help in spreading the word means the world to us. It makes a huge, tangible difference to the small team pouring their hearts into this project every day. We thank you and we love you for being on this journey with us.

חברים יקרים,
החודש אנחנו מזמינים אתכם להצצה קטנה אל מאחורי הקלעים של המוזיאון לילדים בגליל: להכיר את הפנים החדשות שמצטרפות לצוות שלנו, לשמוע את קולות הילדים מהפעילויות של גלגלי הפלא, ולהכיר את הפינה החודשית החדשה שלנו, בה בכל חודש נפגוש אדם אחר שלוקח חלק בדרך שלנו.
אנחנו מקווים שתיהנו להכיר קצת יותר מקרוב את האנשים, הרגעים והעשייה שמאחורי החזון של המוזיאון.

אנחנו מתרגשים לקבל את ישארג יסיאס פלד לצוות המוזיאון. ישארג תוביל את גלגלי הפלא ותסייע להביא את רוח הסקרנות, היצירתיות והחוסן של התוכנית לילדים בכל רחבי הצפון.
אנחנו שמחים שהיא איתנו ומאחלים לה המון הצלחה עם כניסתה לתפקיד.
זו רק היכרות ראשונה. הישארו איתנו, ובאחד הניוזלטרים הבאים נספר לכם יותר על ישארג ועל הדרך שהביאה אותה למוזיאון.

במילים שלהם
כמה מהרגעים המרגשים והמשמעותיים ביותר בגלגלי הפלא מגיעים דווקא מהילדים עצמם. במהלך פעילויות החוסן האחרונות שמענו מהם מחשבות, תחושות וחוויות, ורצינו לשתף אתכם בכמה מהן.

האנשים שמאחורי CMG

חברת הוועד המנהל של CMG
לראות ולשמוע עם מה הילדים שלנו עדיין מתמודדים: שאלות כמו "יהיו שוב אזעקות?", או לראות אותם מתמודדים עם מתח וחרדה שאף ילד לא אמור לחוות, זה שובר את הלב.
ואז מגיע הרגע שבו גלגלי הפלא נכנסים לתמונה, ורואים את השינוי: את הסיפורים השמחים, את הריכוז בזמן היצירה, את החיוכים הגדולים כשהם מצליחים, וגם את התגובות מלאות ההערכה של המורים וההורים. בכל פעילות מחדש אנחנו מבינים עד כמה אנחנו נותנים מענה לצורך אמיתי ודחוף כאן באזור.
אפילו התחלתי להכין רשימה שקראתי לה "101 סיבות למה האזור שלנו צריך מוזיאון ילדים". חלק מהסיבות ברורות מאליהן, אבל אחרות פחות. למשל, המחסור במקומות שילדים יכולים פשוט לשחק, לזוז ולהיות פעילים, ולכן הם מבלים יותר זמן בישיבה ופחות בתנועה, דבר המעלה את הסיכון להשמנה ולסוכרת בקרב ילדים.

התמיכה שלכם לאורך הדרך, העידוד, ההתנדבות והעזרה בהפצת הבשורה משמעותיים עבורנו יותר ממה שאפשר לתאר. עבור הצוות הקטן שלנו, שמשקיע מדי יום את כל הלב בפרויקט הזה, התמיכה שלכם מורגשת ועושה הבדל אמיתי.
